BMW M Motorsport teams collected ten class victories during the latest Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) double-header. Schubert Motorsport also won Saturday’s overall race, while FK Performance Motorsport strengthened its position in two ADAC GT championship battles. The weekend was not entirely clean: Sunday’s NLS race ended without the No. 77 BMW, and the Sunday ADAC GT4 Germany race was cancelled.
Schubert converts Saturday’s NLS race into an overall win
The eighth and ninth rounds of the 2026 NLS season took place as a double-header on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany. Jens Klingmann, Ugo de Wilde and Jordan Pepper shared Schubert Motorsport’s No. 77 BMW M4 GT3 EVO to win Saturday’s overall classification. The same driver line-up did not finish Sunday’s race after light contact with the barriers. That result puts the ten class wins into perspective: BMW teams produced a strong total across the two NLS rounds, but Schubert’s No. 77 car could not repeat its overall success the following day. The early retirement also kept the double-header from becoming a complete weekend for the entry.
FK Performance takes the ADAC GT Masters lead
FK Performance Motorsport is competing with both a BMW M4 GT3 EVO and a BMW M4 GT4 EVO. At the ADAC GT Masters meeting at Salzburgring, held from 4 to 6 September, each endurance race included two mandatory pit stops: one for refuelling and one for a tyre change.
Leyton Fourie and Tim Zimmermann won Saturday’s ADAC GT Masters race in the No. 11 BMW M4 GT3 EVO. Their fourth-place finish on Sunday was enough to move them to the top of the championship standings before the Hockenheim finale scheduled for October.
The result changes the immediate focus for the GT3 crew. FK Performance now heads into the final round with the championship lead, while the team’s other BMW remains involved in the ADAC GT4 Germany title fight.
The GT4 title picture is still waiting on a calendar decision
Gabriele Piana and Benjamin Sylvestersson won Saturday’s ADAC GT4 Germany race from pole position in FK Performance’s No. 51 BMW M4 GT4 EVO. That victory reduced their championship deficit to five points before the finale.
There is, however, still one race to account for. The Sunday ADAC GT4 Germany race at Salzburgring could not be held after kerbs were damaged and rain affected the event. The ADAC is examining whether to reschedule it at Hockenheimring, so the final calendar position of that race has not yet been confirmed.
BMW leaves the weekend with ten NLS class wins, one NLS overall victory and two active ADAC title challenges. The GT Masters standings are set to be decided at Hockenheim in October, while the GT4 outcome depends partly on whether the cancelled Salzburgring race is rearranged.
